The design process step by step
1. Intake and analysis
- You describe your problem or idea
- Optionally provided with photos, sketches or technical drawings (recommended for a better, cheaper and faster result)
- We analyze the feasibility and complexity
- For complex designs, we will contact you for further discussion
2. Quote
- Based on the intake, we prepare a quote
- The quote mentions the design cost
- If desired: combined price for design + print
- After approval, we start with the design
3. Design
- We create the 3D model in the appropriate software
- For technical designs: OpenSCAD or FreeCAD
- For conceptual designs: Tinkercad
- The model is optimized for 3D printing
4. Review and feedback
- You receive preview images of the design
- Any adjustment requests are discussed
- We process your feedback in the model
5. Finalization
- The model is finished and checked
- All details are verified
- Print-friendliness is validated
6. Delivery
- You receive the 3D model in the desired format
- Standard: STL for 3D printing
- Optional: STEP for further CAD editing
- Direct transfer to printing possible
